What dose should I choose?

Levonelle (levonorgestrel) is only available as a single dose 1.5mg tablet.

How should I take Levonelle?

Levonelle (levonorgestrel) should be taken as a single tablet, swallowed whole with a glass of water, as soon as possible. Levonelle (levonorgestrel) must be taken within a maximum of 72 hours after having unprotected sex, however the sooner it is taken the more effective in will be.

How does Levonelle work?

Levonelle (levonorgestrel) is a hormonal contraceptive which works to prevent unwanted pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation.
